Element Support for Grammar Games: Constructor
Grammar Games: Constructor helps students learn
to identify both parts of speech and parts of a sentence.
Game Plans define what types of sentences are generated
and what questions are asked. Some pre-defined game
plans come with the application, but an unlimited number
of tailored plans can be created to focus on specific
areas.
The sentence options and question types cover both
parts of speech and parts of a sentence. The complete
list of options available are defined here.

only questions related to parts of speech are selected,
this option is ignored.

If this option is not selected and the sentence
contains more than one clause, Constructor will
highlight the clause for you before asking questions
about that clause.
-
Dependent Clause Type
When the Dependent Clause Type option is selected,
Constructor will ask you to identify the type or
function of the dependent clause. It may function as
a noun, an adjective, or an adverb.
-
Optional Items
When the Optional Items option is selected, before
asking you to identify various parts of speech or
parts of a sentence, Constructor may first ask you if
those elements exist in the sentence. They may or may
not. If they do, Constructor will then ask you to
identify the elements. This option affects every part
of speech and part of sentence that Constructor may
ask you about.
